Lost Pets

If an Animal Services Officer finds your dog, and your dog is wearing a current license tag on its collar, Animal Services will contact you. If another citizen finds your dog with its license tag, they may use the tag number to contact you through our online tag search or by calling the phone number on the license tag.

If your dog has been lost, Animal Services recommends that you visit their website to submit a Lost Pet Report, and also check the website regularly to see what animals that have been brought to the shelter. Sheltering of strays for Eagle County is provided by Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services. You may contact them at 970-328-3647 regarding your dog.
